Ganderbal, Nov 14, 2017【KNZ】:- On the occasion of world diabetes Day, a screening-awareness and evaluation camp was organized at District Hospital Ganderbal today. The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla.
The programme saw an overwhelming participation of the general public. Large number of patients were screened and counseled for diseases like diabetes, hypertension and thyroid.
Distribution of free medicines, blood glucose testing, and much more were done at the event.
Later, DDC visits District hospital Ganderbal and took stock of medicines and facilities being provided to the patients. The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned authorities to take utmost care regarding health and hygiene of the patients.
Among others CMO Ganderbal, Deputy Medical Superintendent Ganderbal, BMO Ganderbal and Doctors of district Hospital form department of medicine hosted the event.
