Srinagar:Senior People’s Conference Leader and Ex-MLC, Yasir Reshi Sunday visited the Lar area of Ganderbal to condole with the family of former minister, late. Qazi Afzal, over the demise of his wife.
Yasir commiserated with the family members of former minister and described the deceased lady as a very strong-willed woman with great attributes of patience, love, humility, and fear of Allah.
He said her death was not only a great loss to her children and family, but to many people who had benefited from her kindness and generosity
He also eulogized the deceased as a great pillar of support to late Qazi Afzal in his political arena, particularly during his political tussle.
“Not online during good times, her ending support & standing next to Qazi sahab during his tough times would serve as an inspiration for women folk.”
During the visit, Reshi also paid tribute to late Qazi Afzal and described him a political stalwart, who had left a void in politics of J&K, which could never get filled. hailed the contributions of Qazi Mohammad Afzal in the upliftment of the downtrodden and unrepresented class of the society. He described Afzal among the most effective voices for the rights of the poor and marginalised, who will be remembered for times to come.
He also expressed his deepest sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased soul.
