Bandipora, 17 Sep: A youth injured in a road accident in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district last evening died at SKIMS.
An official said that a motorcyclist met with an accident on Bandipora-Srinagar road near Petrol pump Nadihal resulting in injuries of Basit Ahmad (Padestarian) and driver Asgar Ahmad.
Both were immediately rushed to nearby hospital where from they were reffered to SKIMS Srinagar for specialized treatment.
However, Asgar Ahmad of Saderkoot Payeen died at SKIMS.
Meanwhile reports reaching here said that soon after the news about his death spread in the area people in large number started marching towards his home for condolences.
Police said that a case has been registered at police station Bandipora.
