Srinagar, March 11 : Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday it has arrested a bootlegger from bus stand Phalgam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district along with 14 bottles of illicit liquor.
A police officer said that a team of police station Phalgam during a raid arrested one person at Bus Stand Phalgam.
During his search, 70 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered, he said. He identified the arrested person as Nazir Ahmad Bhat son Abdul Gani of Laripora Phalgam.
A case under FIR Number 04/ 2019 under 48 Jammu and Kashmir Excise Act has been registered against the accused and further investigation taken up.
