Body Shifted to District Hospital for Postmortem; Authorities Suspect Suicide

Ganderbal, July 22:(KNC)A 25-year-old student was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Wayil Wudder area of Gutlibagh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday, officials said.

According to officials, the youth was shifted to the District Hospital Ganderbal, where his body has been kept for medico-legal formalities, including a postmortem examination.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the case is suspected to be a suicide. However, police have registered the matter and initiated legal proceedings to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the death.Further investigation is underway.(KNC)
