Anantnag, May 05 :(KNC)Continuing its intensified drive against the illegal sale and misuse of medicines, Anantnag Police, in coordination with officials from the Drug Control Department, conducted inspections of medical establishments under the jurisdiction of Police Station Aishmuqam.

During the inspection at Arigohal, authorities обнаружed serious discrepancies and irregularities in the maintenance of mandatory records and stock registers at three medical stores.

The establishments identified include:Ibaad Medicate Chemists and Druggists, Arigohal Bilal Raina Medicate, Arigohal Ganie Medical Store, Arigohal

Acting on these violations, the competent authorities sealed all three medical stores on the spot in accordance with legal provisions. Further investigation and necessary legal proceedings have been initiated.

Anantnag Police, in close coordination with the concerned departments, reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining strict vigilance against the unlawful sale, stocking, and misuse of pharmaceutical and controlled substances to safeguard public health and curb substance abuse in the region.(KNC)
