GANDERBAL, 18 June: Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) of Tullamulla, Mr. Rafiq Ahmad, conducted surprise inspections across several schools in the Wutlar subcluster to evaluate teaching quality, infrastructure, and daily operations.
During the visit, he interacted with students to check their basic skills and urged teachers to adopt fun, child-friendly methods and helpful learning tools.
Mr. Ahmad reviewed attendance records, emphasizing that all staff members including teachers, cooks, and Aayss must be strictly punctual.
He also inspected school kitchens, drinking water areas, and bathrooms, ordering immediate improvements to ensure that Mid-Day Meals are nutritious and sanitation standards are kept high.
While generally satisfied with the schools’ overall performance, the ZEO identified a few minor issues and ordered school heads to fix them quickly and submit a compliance report, underscoring the department’s commitment to creating safe and effective learning environments.
