Roots IAS Academy Holds Open Seminar on IAS, JKAS, JKSSB Exams at GDC Ganderbal

 

GANDERBAL: Roots IAS Academy, in collaboration with Government Degree College (GDC) Ganderbal, organised an open seminar aimed at guiding students aspiring to crack competitive examinations, including IAS, JKAS and JKSSB.

 

The seminar brought together students, serving government officers and experienced mentors, providing aspirants an opportunity to gain valuable insights into competitive examination preparation, career opportunities, study strategies and the challenges involved in pursuing civil services.

 

Among the officers and experts associated with the programme were DFO Sindh Forest Division Ganderbal Iqbal Rasool Dar, DySP headquarters Umer Urfaan, DySP Sanjeev Kumar, DySP Rakesh Singh, Managing Director of Roots IAS Academy Nishita Dhar and Roots IAS Academy faculty member Younis Yousuf Mir.

 

Principal of Government Degree College Ganderbal, Prof. Fouzia Fatima, was also associated with the programme.

 

The initiative was aimed at providing students, particularly those from Ganderbal and adjoining areas, with direct interaction with experienced officers and mentors and helping them understand the preparation strategy required for various competitive examinations.

 

The speakers encouraged students to approach competitive examinations with discipline, consistency and proper planning, while highlighting the importance of choosing the right guidance and developing a focused study strategy.

 

The programme also sought to motivate young aspirants to pursue civil services and other competitive examinations and make the most of available educational and career opportunities.

 

The collaborative initiative by Roots IAS Academy and Government Degree College Ganderbal was aimed at strengthening career guidance and creating greater awareness among students about competitive examinations and careers in public service.
