DC Kulgam visits Shrine of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Wali (RA) at Chimmer

KULGAM, AUGUST 25: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, today visited the revered shrine of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA) at Chimmer, D.H. Pora, and paid obeisance at the holy shrine.

During the visit, the DC reviewed the arrangements and facilities being put in place for devotees, particularly in view of the forthcoming Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations.

The Deputy Commissioner took stock of the overall arrangements at the shrine and its adjoining areas, including cleanliness, sanitation, drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, parking and other essential facilities required for the smooth and comfortable movement of devotees.

The DC interacted with members of the shrine management committee, local residents and other stakeholders and took detailed feedback regarding the developmental requirements and issues affecting the area. He assured them that all genuine concerns would be examined and addressed in coordination with the concerned departments.

While reviewing the preparations for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), the DC stressed the need for coordinated efforts among all concerned departments to ensure adequate arrangements for the expected congregation of devotees.

He directed the officers to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation in and around the shrine, uninterrupted availability of essential amenities and timely completion of all necessary arrangements.

The DC also directed the concerned officers to remain vigilant and responsive to any requirement that may arise during the Eid Milad celebrations.

Accompanying the Deputy Commissioner were SDM Noorabad Bashir ul Hassan, AEE R& B, Reyaz Ahmad, AEE PDD, Javid Ahmad Wagay and other concerned officers.
