Ganderbal, Sep 1(KNZ/TMJ) : A 65-year-old man died after suffering an electric shock at his residence in the Patidevipora Gogjigund area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said on Tuesday.

An official told Kashmir News Zone — The Media Journal that the deceased has been identified as Ghulam Ahmad Ganie, son of late Ghulam Mohammad Ganie, a resident of Patidevipora.

Following the incident, his body was shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal for medico-legal formalities.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further proceedings are underway.(KNZ/TMJ)
