Ganderbal:As early SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS initiated a special Drive against Drug menace, in this connection one person namely Muhammed Ibrahim Bhat S/O: Muhammed Ramzan Bhat R/O: Waripora Safapora intercepted by naka party laid at Waripora Safapora and 19 bottles of codeine recovered from his possession.
Naka party under the supervision of Dy. SP Ganderbal Shri M. Shafi-JKPS and headed by SHO Safapora INSP Shri Masir Asgar apprehends the accused person and seized 19 bottles of codeine on spot.
In this regard case F.I.R No. 11/2019 U/S 8/22 NDPS ACT stands registered in Police Station Safapora and investigation taken up.
People appreciated the continuous efforts of Ganderbal Police in eradication of Drug menace in District Ganderbal.
