Appeals Ummah to remember under privileged and share joy with them
Ganderbal:BJP District President Ganderbal Gh Hassan Rather and BJP District General Secretary Aabid Hussain greets people of Jammu and Kashmir especially muslim ummah on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
In Eid greetings message, while felicitating people on the auspicious religious festival of Eid ul Azha.This occasion imbibes the sacred values of obedience , sacrifice and compassion as exhibited by the Prophet Ibrahim ( As) and his son Hazrat Ismail (a.s) to honour the will of All mighty Allaah.
They said Eid ul-Adha (‘Festival of Sacrifice’) is one of the most important festivals in the Muslim calendar adding that the special occasion also teaches to remember the lesser privileged, destitute and downtrodden sections of the society and to share our joy with them.
Highlighting the spirit of sacrifice and selflessness that is epitomized by Eid-ul-Azha, he said it was important to remember families, especially children who had lost their near and dear ones due to long spell of turmoil in Jammu and Kashmir and the prevailing Covid 19 pandemic .
They prayed that the auspicious occasion may prove harbinger of lasting peace and prosperity for Jammu and Kashmir.
They urged the people to follow Covid-19 SOPs strictly to protect themselves and others nearby from this dragon pandemic.
