Huge seizure of narcotics in Jammu:Police

Jammu:Large-scale transportation smuggling of narcotics from Pak took place throughout the year. Several huge seizures were made in Kashmir.

Similarly, huge consignments were caught by Jammu Police too: DGP Dilbag Singh
In some incidents, drones were used by Pakistan to smuggle narcotics to this side.

During the investigation, a huge interstate connection of the drug mafia was unearthed. Jammu Police & Kashmir Police did commendable work, says DGP.

"There are people who understand the reality but try to say something which is away from reality.

There are people who have started looking at killers as innocent people..,"says DGP Dilbag Singh when asked that Mehbooba Mufti is casting aspersions on y'day's encounter.

After the killings (civilian) dozens of successful operations took place, over 20 militants have been gunned down.

All militants, who were involved in the recent civilian killings, have been killed in these encounters. Only one terrorist, Basit remains.

Citizens were also guided on accessing digital services through the Voter Helpline App. During the drive, grievances and queries raised by electors were taken up by the election functionaries concerned for redressal and appropriate action. Contact numbers of officials concerned were also shared with the public to facilitate direct communication and enable citizens to seek assistance regarding their electoral particulars and enrolment-related matters. The Election Department reiterated that the election machinery across Jammu and Kashmir remains available round-the-clock to assist the public, address grievances and provide guidance on voter enrolment and other electoral matters.
