GANDERBAL 29th March:- One-day awareness cum training programme on Food Safety Training and Certification was held today at Town Hall Ganderbal.
The training programme was organized by Food & Drugs Administration Ganderbal in collaboration with Global Institute for Education & Resource foundation New Delhi.
Food Business operators dealing with Retail food business operators, Bakery Manufacturers, Restaurant owners, Packaged Drinking water Manufacturers participated in the said Training Programme.
Detailed presentation was made by the Trainer regarding good manufacturing and hygiene practices to be followed during the manufacturing and food processing.
Food Safety Officers of the district also participated in the training.
All the participants appreciated the role of the department with regard to implementation of Food Safety laws and requested that such a training programme should be conducted in future also.
