GANDERBAL :- At least 50 sheeps were killed after lightning struck amid heavy rains at Haknar area of Gund in central Kashmirs Ganderbal district.

Official sources told Glacier Times that a local nomad namely Abdul Salam Chopan Son of Mohd Ramzan resident of Haknar while grazing Sheeps in his locality when the heavy lightning hits the area during rains.

He said that during the lightening Over 50 sheeps were killed, however There was no report of any human loss in the incident, he said.
