GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 22: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC)Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad today evening conducted surprise check of District Hospital Ganderbal.
The ADC inspected various sections of the hospital including casualty ward, IPD, Emergency, bloodbank, office area, X-ray and laboratory and showed his satisfaction over the overall functioning of the various units of district Hospital.
He interacted with the on-duty staff as well as with several patients and enquired regarding the medical facilities being provided.
Patients lauded the avalibility of medical care and required facilities however, complained of some issues that effect the funtioning of blood bank facility.
The Patients stand assured that the issues will be taken up with the hospital authority for early redressal.
The ADC also checked the attendance register along with duty roaster of Medical and Para medical staff who were found on duty.
He emphasized the doctors and other staff to ensure seamless medical care is provided to the patients as they come to the hospital with much hope and it is important to show empathy and concern while extending medical care.
Earlier in the morning, the ADC also inspected the functioning of PHC shuhama.
