Hajin, Sonawari, September 4: Al Jamia Fatimatul Zahra (RA) Lil Banat, Khumina Baharabad, Hajin, Bandipora, organised its annual Jalsa-e-Dastar Bandi and Certificate Distribution Programme at Markazi Hanafiya Jamia Masjid, Khumina Baharabad, Sonawari, on Friday.

The programme was held under the theme “Save the Daughters, Educate Them in Deen”, with the objective of promoting religious education among girls and encouraging parents to provide their daughters with Islamic education.

A large gathering of people from different areas attended the programme, reflecting strong community participation and support for religious education.

During the programme, the fathers of the students were felicitated with Dastar Bandi and certificates in recognition of their support, encouragement and contribution towards their daughters’ religious education.

A total of 13 students were recognised for completing different levels of religious education at the institution. The fathers of 2 students who completed Hifz-e-Quran and 5 students who completed Darja-e-Sania were felicitated with Dastar Bandi and certificates. The fathers of 6 students who completed Nazirah with Tajweed were felicitated with Dastar Bandi.

Mufti Mubarak Al Qasmi, who attended the programme as the Chief Guest, along with Mufti Maroof Ahmad Qasmi, addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts of Al Jamia Fatimatul Zahra in promoting religious education among girls.

People from different areas were also present on the occasion and extended their support to the organisers, students and their families.

The organisers emphasised that educating daughters in Deen plays an important role in building morally strong families and a responsible society. They called upon parents and the wider community to continue supporting and encouraging girls in pursuing religious education.
