Ganderbal: Aqib Rasool, Chief Editor of Kashmir News Zone (KNZ) News Agency and The Media Journal magazine, was honoured by the District Administration Ganderbal on the occasion of Independence Day in recognition of his contribution to journalism and public communication.
The felicitation was held during the Independence Day celebrations in Ganderbal. Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Jatin Kishore, IAS, along with SSP Ganderbal Sudhanshu Dhama, IPS, ADDC, ADC,ACR and other senior officers of the district administration, were present on the occasion.
The recognition acknowledged Aqib Rasool’s role in highlighting issues of public importance, reporting developments from across the district and contributing to responsible journalism.
The honour is seen as an appreciation of the media fraternity’s role in strengthening public awareness, accountability and the connection between administration and the people.
