Ganderbal 16 Oct (KNZ): The Chief Engineer R&B Kashmir Rafiq Ahmad Rafiq today visited Wayil and Dal Colony Nunner area of the Ganderbal district to check the status of ongoing macadamization process.

During his visit, the Chief Engineer took stock of the quality of the material used for blacktopping work on the Peth-Wayil road which connects Talie Mohalla,Kumar Mohalla,Sehipora,Wani-Mohalla,Naderbagh,Babawayil,Urpesh, Gutlibagh and other villages of the area

He emphasized upon the executing agencies to carry out the work as per the specification and ensure completion of the macadamization process on the said roads within set timelines.

The Chief Engineer R&B was assured that the macadamization work will be completed within the stipulated time frame.

He said that locals of the area are regularly demanding macadamisation of this link road and their grievance was redressed today.

The locals of the area thanked the Chief Engineer, Executive Engineer R&B Division Ganderbal along with field staff for reaching out to them on a regular basis and resolving their issues on priority basis.KNZ
