Baltal, July 9: The Food Department, headed by Inspector Fayaz Ahmad, conducted a Registration Mela at the Baltal Base Camp to facilitate food business operators (FBOs) serving Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra pilgrims.

During the camp, 41 on-the-spot registrations were issued to FBOs, ensuring compliance with food safety norms and smooth services for yatris arriving for darshan.

The department also highlighted the importance of maintaining hygiene, sanitation, and proper storage practices while catering to the pilgrims at the base camp.
