Ganderbal, April 23, 2026:In a proactive step towards enhancing public safety and disaster readiness, Ganderbal Police on Thursday conducted a comprehensive mock drill at Government Degree College (GDC) Ganderbal.

The exercise aimed to equip students, faculty, and the general public with essential skills to respond effectively during blackout scenarios and other emergency situations.Simulating real-time crisis conditions, the drill focused on coordinated response, timely evacuation, and efficient management of unforeseen contingencies.

The event saw active participation from the Civil Administration, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and Traffic Police, highlighting a collaborative approach to disaster management and emergency response.
