Ganderbal | July 15, 2025:In a proactive move to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims during the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025, the Ganderbal Police today conducted a comprehensive mock drill along the designated Yatra route.

The exercise aimed to evaluate the preparedness, coordination, and response mechanisms of various security agencies in managing emergency scenarios, including threat alerts, evacuations, and crowd control measures. Senior police officials closely monitored the drill, reviewing the effectiveness of existing standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Special focus was placed on high-footfall and vulnerable areas to assess the agility and efficiency of deployed personnel. The drill was executed seamlessly without causing any disruption to Yatris or the local population.
