Ganderbal, May 26: Ahead of the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and the expected rush of visitors to picnic spots, riverbanks, and tourist destinations, the Ganderbal Police has installed safety and awareness banners at several vulnerable locations along the banks of Nallah Sindh across the district.
The initiative has been taken as a precautionary measure to create awareness among the general public, tourists, and local residents about the importance of following safety guidelines while visiting water bodies during Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.
The banners display important advisories and precautionary measures aimed at preventing drowning incidents, accidents, and other mishaps near riverbanks.
People have been advised not to venture into deep waters, avoid risky activities near the river, and ensure proper supervision of children during outings.
The Ganderbal Police has appealed to the public to cooperate with the administration and strictly follow all safety instructions to ensure a safe, peaceful, and joyful Eid-ul-Adha for everyone.
