Srinagar, May 25: The Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned a one-day Special Casual Leave on May 29, 2026, in connection with the observance of Eid-ul-Azha.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the leave has been granted in favour of employees of the Union Territory who wish to avail the holiday on account of the religious occasion.

The order, issued under Government Order No. 1012-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated May 25, stated that the leave will be observed on Friday, May 29.
