Anantnag, 05 Feb : Militants on Wednesday evening offered gun salute to their associate in Waghama village of Bijebhera in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Reports reaching to wire service — Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that three masked militants this evening appeared at graveyard Waghama of Bijebhera and fired several round in air to pay tribute to the slain Khateeb-Ul-Das who was killed in a shootout at Lawaypora, Srinagar along with another militant Zia-ur Rehman of Lashkar-e-Toiba. One CRPF personnel was also killed in the exchange of fire.

Meanwhile, police officials told KNO that they are verifying the facts and ascertaining the details about the incident.(KNO)
