Ganderbal,10 Dec (KNZ):The Mansbal Range of the Sindh Forest Division, along with the Forest Protection Force Reporting Centre Urpash, on Wednesday expressed profound grief over the tragic demise of Forest Guard Ghulam Mohammad Shah, who lost his life while courageously battling a forest fire in Verinag.
As a tribute to the fallen guard, officials planted a memorial tree in his honour, symbolising respect for his service and dedication to forest protection.
A solemn condolence meet was held where officers and staff observed a moment of silence and offered dua for the maghfirat of the departed soul. They prayed for strength and patience for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
Range Officer Mansbal Basharat Aijaz was present on the occasion and led all employees, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of Shah and reaffirming the department’s commitment to safeguarding forests with renewed resolve.KNZ
