GANDERBAL, AUGUST 13: As part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026’, a Mega Tiranga Rally was held at Kangan, Ganderbal, celebrating patriotism, unity and pride in the National Flag.

The rally was led by SDM Kangan, Dr. Nazir Ahmad-JKAS, and SDPO Kangan, Shri Rajeev Raina-JKPS, and commenced from Government Degree College Kangan, culminating at Boys Higher Secondary School Kangan.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation of officers and officials of the Civil Administration and Police, students and a large number of local citizens. Carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans, participants marched through the designated route, creating a vibrant atmosphere of national unity, patriotism and pride in the National Flag.

The enthusiastic participation of the local community and students reflected the strong public spirit and collective ownership of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, with citizens coming together to celebrate the Tricolour and reinforce the message of national unity and integration.

The Mega Tiranga Rally formed part of the series of activities being organised across District Ganderbal from August 09 to 17, 2026, with active participation of government departments, educational institutions, youth and the general public.

The event concluded with a strong message of unity, national integration, patriotism and collective pride in the Tricolour, reaffirming the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga across Kangan and the district.
