Anantnag May 18: Continuing its sustained crackdown against the drug menace and the illegal assets generated through narcotics trafficking, J&K Police in Anantnag attached an immovable property worth approximately ₹1.10 crore under the provisions of Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act.
The attached property comprises a double-storeyed residential house belonging to notorious drug peddler Ajaz Ahmad Bhat son of Gh. Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat resident of Nowshara Srigufwara. The attachment was executed by Police Station Srigufwara in connection with FIR No. 54/2025 registered at Police Station Srigufwara under relevant sections of the NDPS Act. The property has been identified as illegally acquired asset linked to proceeds of narcotics trafficking and has been attached as per the due legal process.
Police remains committed to dismantling the narcotics ecosystem by targeting not only drug peddlers but also the properties and financial networks created through the proceeds of drug trafficking. Such stringent action shall continue against all those involved in this illegal trade.
