Ganderbal June 15: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Police in Ganderbal, in close coordination with members of the Civil Society, conducted extensive Wild Bhang Destruction Drive in the jurisdiction of Police Post Shadipora and Police Post Nagbal.
During the drive, large patches of wild bhang (cannabis) growing in open areas and along roadsides were identified and destroyed to curb the menace of drug abuse and prevent the misuse of narcotic substances. The operation witnessed active participation and support from local residents and civil society members, reflecting a collective commitment towards building a drug-free society.
J&K Police remains steadfast in its resolve to eradicate the drug menace from the district and urges the public to continue supporting law enforcement agencies by sharing information regarding illegal cultivation, trafficking, or abuse of narcotic substances.
