Ganderbal, Oct 31 【KNZ】:The national unity day “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” was observed in District Police Line Ganderbal today.

District Police Ganderbal organized Run for unity at District Police Line Ganderbal which was flagged off by Additional SP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Hussain,in presence of Dysp Aashiq Hussain and other police officers.

Large number of people from various villages participated in the program.
On the occasion Additional SP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Hussain spoke on the importance of National Unity Day, exhorted upon the participants especially the youth to contribute positively to the society in eradication of various social evils and maintain communal harmony.

The very purpose of organizing this event is to maintain communal harmony, integration and sense of belonging among the different sects of the society.
Dysp Aashiq Hussain thanked the participants for participating witnessing such a wonderful event.
At the conclusion of the function, it was pledged to take the massage and mission of Sardar Vlabh Bhai Patel forward.
