Srinagar, June 29, 2026:Prominent campaigner, social reformer, and motivational speaker Bilal Bhat was honoured with a Certificate of Participation by the National Statistics Office (NSO), Field Operations Division (FOD), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India, Regional Office Srinagar, for his active participation in the celebration of the 20th Statistics Day.
The programme was organized under the theme “Unlocking the Potential of Administrative Data”, highlighting the vital role of data in evidence-based governance, policy formulation, and national development.
Bilal Bhat’s participation reflected his continued commitment to promoting public awareness, youth empowerment, social development, and community engagement. Through his inspiring work as a campaigner and motivational speaker, he has consistently encouraged young people to contribute positively to society.
Speaking on the occasion, Bilal Bhat expressed his gratitude to the National Statistics Office for the recognition and appreciated the efforts of the organizers in promoting the importance of statistics and administrative data in building a stronger and more informed nation.
The certificate was presented by Arif Iqbal Bhat, ISS, Assistant Director, NSO FODRO Srinagar, during the official Statistics Day celebrations held on 29th June 2026.
