GANDERBAL: The Sonamarg Beopar Mandal Association, led by President Furqan Shera, along with its members, on Saturday called on newly posted SHO Sonamarg Rayees Ahmad and accorded him a warm welcome.

During the meeting, the Association members conveyed their best wishes to SHO Rayees Ahmad and discussed various issues concerning the local business community, as well as matters related to the smooth functioning of Sonamarg.

The members expressed hope that under his leadership, police-public coordination would be further strengthened and issues concerning traders would be addressed through mutual cooperation and dialogue.

The Association assured the newly posted SHO of its full cooperation in maintaining peace, security and a conducive environment for locals, traders and tourists visiting the prominent tourist destination.

The members wished SHO Rayees Ahmad a successful tenure in Sonamarg and expressed confidence that his efforts would further strengthen law and order and contribute towards ensuring a safe, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere for all.
