Ganderbal, Sept 8 (KNZ):The Special Crime Wing of Crime Branch Srinagar on Sunday carried out searches at multiple locations in district Ganderbal in connection with an ongoing investigation into FIR No. 23/2024 registered under Section 302 IPC.
According to officials, the searches were conducted at the residential houses of Mohammad Afzal Sheikh, son of Ghulam Qadir Sheikh of Bonzila Haripora; Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Qadir Sheikh of Bonzila Haripora; and Wajid Rasool Dar, son of Ghulam Rasool Dar of Haripora, Ganderbal.
The operation was carried out on the basis of search warrants issued by the competent court and executed under the supervision of a Duty Magistrate, with assistance from the local police.
It is worth mentioning that the case, initially registered at Police Station Ganderbal, was later transferred to the Special Crime Wing Srinagar for further investigation by Police Headquarters J&K.
