Anantnag June 24: As part of the comprehensive security and administrative preparations for the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY-2026), SSP Anantnag Shri Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS today chaired a meeting of all Zonal Officers and Sector Officers deployed for Yatra duties.
The meeting focused on reviewing the operational plan and ensuring seamless coordination among the officers entrusted with responsibilities along the Yatra route and other designated locations. SSP Anantnag briefed the officers in detail about their roles and responsibilities, emphasizing the need for constant vigilance, professionalism, and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). He directed the officers to maintain close coordination with all stakeholders, ensure effective supervision in their respective jurisdictions, and remain prepared to respond promptly to any situation. Special emphasis was laid on proactive policing, efficient communication, crowd management, and providing all possible assistance to pilgrims while maintaining a robust security grid. The SSP further instructed the officers to ensure round-the-clock alertness, regular field inspections, and timely reporting of any developments so that the Yatra is conducted in a safe, secure, and hassle-free manner.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of Police’s commitment to ensuring foolproof security arrangements and facilitating the smooth conduct of SANJY-2026 through coordinated planning and dedicated field deployment.
