Anantnag, August 20, 2026:SSP Anantnag Shri Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS today reviewed the security arrangements along the route designated for the passage of Chhari Mubarak, ahead of the forthcoming religious procession.

During the review, the SSP inspected the key locations and stretches along the route through which the Chhari Mubarak is scheduled to pass and took stock of the overall security arrangements, deployment plans, traffic management and crowd regulation measures.

SSP Anantnag directed the officers and personnel deployed on the route to maintain heightened alertness, ensure effective coordination and remain vigilant throughout the movement. He emphasised that all necessary security and traffic arrangements must be put in place well in advance to facilitate the smooth and peaceful passage of the procession.

The SSP further stressed the importance of close coordination among all stakeholders and directed the concerned officers to ensure seamless arrangements for the devotees and the general public.
