Ganderbal, October 16: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal on Friday inspected Police Station Safapora and reviewed its overall functioning, emphasising professionalism, accountability and efficient public service delivery.

During the inspection, the SSP visited various sections of the police station and took stock of the maintenance of official records, investigation of cases and other policing activities.

He issued necessary directions to the officers and officials, stressing the importance of prompt and impartial investigations, timely redressal of public grievances, discipline and strict enforcement of law.

The SSP also emphasised the need for close coordination with the public, a proactive approach towards crime prevention and the delivery of transparent, courteous and citizen-friendly policing. He directed police personnel to discharge their duties with dedication, sincerity and a strong sense of responsibility while remaining vigilant and responsive to public concerns.

Ganderbal Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order, strengthening public trust and ensuring the safety and security of people across the district.
