SSP Pulwama Chairs Grand Public Darbar At Tujan Rahmoo

Pulwama September 17: Taking people-centric policing closer to the grassroots, Police in Pulwama organised a grand Public Darbar at Tujan Rahmoo, a remote village located away from the District Headquarters, under the chairmanship of SSP Pulwama Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS.

Despite the ongoing peak apple harvesting season, a large number of people from Tujan Rahmo and adjoining areas participated in the Darbar, welcoming the initiative of Pulwama Police and turning up in large numbers to interact with the senior police leadership.

The participants projected various issues and concerns relating to their area and day-to-day lives. Several grievances were addressed on the spot, while the remaining issues were noted for taking up with the concerned authorities for appropriate redressal.

Addressing the gathering, SSP Pulwama Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS underscored the significance of an open and continuous dialogue between Police and the community, stating that the confidence and cooperation of local residents are vital for addressing challenges at the grassroots level. He encouraged the people to share their concerns freely with the Police and assured them that their issues would receive due attention and necessary action.

The overwhelming participation of the people, particularly during the busy apple harvesting season, reflected the strong community response to the public outreach initiative and their willingness to engage directly with the Police.

Police remains committed to taking people-centric policing to every corner of the district and strengthening the bond of trust with the public.
