Ganderbal, May 28(KNZ/TMJ): A man sustained injuries after strong winds struck the Sonamarg area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, officials said.
The injured person has been identified as Mohd Sultan, a resident of Safapora area of Ganderbal district, officials told Kashmir News Zone/The Media Journal.
According to officials, the incident took place near a fish pond in Sonamarg when strong winds lashed the area, leaving the man injured. He was immediately rushed to the nearby Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Sonamarg, where he was provided initial medical treatment.
Due to the nature of his injuries, doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment and specialised care.
The injured man was shifted to SKIMS Soura in stable condition for further treatment, officials added.(KNZ/TMJ)
