Two Days Thang-Ta championship concludes in Central Kashmir Ganderbal

GANDERBAL 07 Sep【KNZ】:The two-day District Ganderbal Thang-Ta championship organized by District Thang-Ta Association Ganderbal concluded at New Dream Land Educational Institution , here on thursday.

The Principal Govt. College of Physical Education Dr.Hartej Singh,was chief guest on the occasion and distributed prizes amoung the winners.

In the event around 260 boys and girls from different Schools and Thang-Ta clubs from various areas of the District participated.

The twenty position holders of the event have been given direct entry into State championship scheduled to be held at Srinagar in October .

The championship was organized under the banner of J&K Thang-Ta Association and sponsored by J&K State Sport council.

Other official of the District youth services and sports among them Firdous Ahmad Sheikh DYSSO Ganderbal,C.E.O Ganderbal Mohd.Afzal,General Secretary J&K thang-ta Association Aijaz Ahmad , Chairman New Dreamland School Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad were present on the occasion.
