Srinagar, Sep 23 (GNS): Vice Chancellor, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday and briefed him about important matters related to academic progress and holistic student development at the University.

In a separate meeting, as per GNS, a delegation of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) also called on the Chief Minister and discussed measures to strengthen trade and commerce across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing and assured that issues raised would be looked into, officials said.(GNS)
