Srinagar, Apr 21: World Veterinary Day was observed with a series of activities, including a plantation drive and sports events, aimed at promoting awareness and student well-being.
The plantation drive was led by Prof. Riaz A. Shah, Dean of the Faculty.The programme also featured various sports competitions.
A girls’ cricket match, organised for the first time, emerged as a major highlight of the event. Kabaddi matches also drew enthusiastic participation from students.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Shah said such activities contribute to the mental and physical development of students.
The events witnessed active participation from students and faculty members and were aimed at encouraging holistic development beyond academics.
