GANDERBAL, AUGUST 11: The Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today visited Dab Ganderbal where she held a public darbar in the lawns of Astan Shaheed Syed Mohammad Banyal.
ADDC, Pir Muzafar, BDC Chairperson Wakura, Tehsildar Wakura and other officials accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
Locals and PRIs hailing from Dab and adjoining areas attended the darbar and put forth their issues and demands particularly development of play field, Health wellness centre, early completion of receiving station, conservation of springs in area, fencing of grave yard, development of children park, upgradation of high school, and other demands of public importance.
While interacting with the public, the DC reiterated that the main aim and objective of visiting the area is to take a firsthand appraisal of all issues on spot at gross root level adding that officers/officials are already directed to prioritize works as per needs of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC appreciated the people for their support and cooperation in mitigating the Covid infection by way of adhering Covid SOPs and appealed them to request other people of locality to follow Covid SOPs religiously especially during Moharram days.
She further added that though Covid cases are decreasing but coming 100 days are very crucial and adherence to Covid SOPs and vaccination is only way to combat the possible Covid 3rd wave.
She assured the locals whatever issues and demands they have put will be taken into consideration.
