Civil Society Members, PRIs and Locals participated with great fervour
Ganderbal: Har Ghar Tiranga, a campaign under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” has started with full swing and fervor and the campaign is witnessing overwhelming response of the students, youth and the locals.
As a part of this campaign, a special Tiranga Rally comprising of Various vehicles and bikes driven by civil society members, officers and men of J&K Police was taken out today from DPL Ganderbal to Beehama Chowk Ganderbal.
The rally was held to spread awareness about our National Flag. The rally was flagged off by SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS in which the students and the youth of District Ganderbal also participated enthusiastically.
The participants in the rally sang the National Anthem, patriotic songs & waved the tricolor. SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS also highlighted the vital importance of independence and role of freedom fighters who laid down their precious lives for the freedom of the country.
In this event, DDCs, BDCs, Sarpanchs and civil society members of District Ganderbal also participated and waved off the tricolour with great fervor and enthusiasm.
Moreover, ASP Ganderbal Shri Feroz Yehya-JKPS, DySP Headquarters Ganderbal Shri Ghulam Hassan-JKPS, DySP DAR Ganderbal Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS and other senior officers were also the part of this grand occassion.
