Kargil, March 03, 2024: The National Pulse Polio immunization programme was conducted in Sankoo Sub Division of Kargil.
Dr Nahida Javid Medical Officer of PHC Trespone inaugurated the Pulse Polio Immunization drive by administering oral polio drops.
A total of 3550 children were immunised below the age of five years covered under PPI drive.
404 paramedical staff, including ASHAs and AWW workers from ICDS, were engaged, along with 20 supervisors deployed to monitor the program at various Polio Booths. Additionally, 101 PPI Booths were set up.
