Rider referred to SKIMS Soura after receiving initial treatment at SDH Kangan

Ganderbal, July 26 (KNZ/TMJ): A 30-year-old motorcyclist was injured after his motorcycle skidded and overturned on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road near Sumbalbala Gund in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday.
An official told Kashmir News Zone-the media journal that the injured has been identified as Altaf Ahmad Khattana, son of Ghulam Rubani, a resident of Hariganiwan, Kangan. He was riding a motorcycle bearing registration number JK21E-3311 when it reportedly skidded off the road and overturned, leaving him injured.
He was immediately shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Kangan, where he received initial treatment. However, due to the nature of his injuries, doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura for specialised treatment, the officials said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings.(KNZ/TMJ)
