DC Ganderbal leads Cleanliness Drive under Har Ghar Tiranga campaign;Inaugurates Public Convenience Facility at Mini Secretariat

 

GANDERBAL, AUGUST 11: As part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign, the District Administration Ganderbal today organised ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ activities across the district, promoting cleanliness, civic responsibility and public participation.

On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, inaugurated a newly established Public Convenience Facility Block at Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal, and dedicated it for the use of the general public.

The newly established facility is aimed at providing clean, hygienic and accessible sanitation facilities to visitors and members of the public visiting the Mini Secretariat. The facility will provide improved public amenities and contribute towards maintaining better standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the premises.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation at public places and directed the concerned officials to ensure regular cleaning, upkeep and maintenance of the facility. He also called upon citizens to use public facilities responsibly and contribute towards keeping public spaces clean.

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva programme, cleanliness drives were conducted at various locations across the district, including government offices, schools, colleges, public places and other important locations. Officers, employees, students and members of the public participated enthusiastically in the activities.

The cleanliness drives were aimed at creating greater awareness about sanitation and encouraging citizens to make cleanliness an integral part of their daily lives. The activities also complemented the broader spirit of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, which is being observed across the district with active participation of people from all sections of society.

The ongoing campaign has witnessed a series of activities across Ganderbal, including Tiranga rallies, Har Ghar Tiranga pledge, mass singing of the National Anthem, patriotic programmes and Swachhata Hi Seva activities, with enthusiastic participation of students, youth, government departments and the general public.

The District Administration has urged citizens and all stakeholders to continue participating actively in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and contribute towards strengthening the values of patriotism, cleanliness, civic responsibility and collective participation.
