Ganderbal Police Intensifies Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign Under Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan

Ganderbal :Ganderbal Police on Thursday continued its sustained campaign against drug abuse by organising a series of awareness and preventive programmes across the district under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.

As part of the drive, Police Station Gund, in collaboration with the medical team of PHC Gund, conducted a urine drug screening programme at Gund aimed at early detection, prevention, and awareness regarding the harmful consequences of substance abuse.

Officials said the initiative was organised to encourage a healthier lifestyle and identify cases requiring counselling or medical intervention at an early stage.

Meanwhile, a Nasha Mukt Abhiyan Rally was jointly organised by the Civil Administration and Ganderbal Police at Wakura. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from officials, volunteers, and members of the public, who raised awareness slogans and carried placards promoting a drug-free society.

Ganderbal Police reiterated its commitment towards safeguarding the youth from the menace of drugs and urged the public to actively cooperate with the administration in making the district free from substance abuse under the ongoing Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan.
