Ganderbal : Under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan, Ganderbal Police, in coordination with the Canine (K9) Unit of Crime Branch Srinagar, has intensified its ongoing crackdown against drug trafficking and substance abuse across the district.
Special naka points were set up at key locations, particularly in identified drug hotspots, where thorough checking of vehicles and passengers was conducted. Trained sniffer dogs were deployed to detect any concealed contraband.
The drive is aimed at curbing drug peddling, dismantling illegal networks, and maintaining strict surveillance on suspicious activities to ensure a safe and drug-free environment.
Reaffirming its commitment, Ganderbal Police urged the public to cooperate with such operations, emphasizing that community support is crucial in the fight against drug abuse.
