NIA Attaches Property of Accused Lodged in Custody in 2020 Terror Case In Srinagar

 

Srinagar, April 24 : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday attached a property belonging to an accused currently in its custody in connection with a terror-related case registered in 2020, sources said.

 

The action was carried out by an NIA team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Panchkach Agarwal, who oversaw the attachment of 11.5 marlas of land located at SK Bagh in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

 

The property is registered under Survey No. 25 and belongs to Tafazul Hussain Parimoo, son of Abdul Rashid Parimoo, a resident of Sheikh-ul-Alam Colony, Nowgam in Srinagar.

 

Officials told new agency Kashmir Dot Com, that the accused is presently lodged in NIA custody in connection with FIR No. RC-01/2020/NIA/JMU, registered under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Arms Act, and Explosive Substances Act.

 

The attachment proceedings were executed in the presence of local revenue and police officials, including the Naib Tehsildar of B.K. Pora, Ashiq Hussain, and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Nowgam, Srinagar.
