Sopore, Aug 20, KNT: Sopore Police have arrested the second accused in a case involving alleged impersonation of police officials and extortion, completing the arrests in FIR No. 194/2026.
Police had on August 7 arrested one accused for allegedly impersonating a police official and extorting money from a complainant, while efforts were underway to trace another person allegedly involved in the case.
In the latest development, police said the second accused has also been arrested.
With the latest arrest, both accused involved in the case have been taken into custody.
Further investigation into the case is underway. [KNT]
